From the binder to the board
A two-player game of placing cards, upgrading squares and turning your opponent’s numbers against them.
Choose 14 different card numbers. The official rules set one aside as the ante, leaving 13 in your hand. You can use a playmat or a simple grid and markers.
The official site offers guest play. Gameplay and its account features are hosted there.
Start an empty square with a Level I card. A face-down rock is another option, with only one uncovered rock allowed at once.
Face-up plays challenge adjacent enemy cards. A higher touching number captures that square. Equal numbers leave control unchanged.
Upgrade a square you control by one Level. Control the most squares when the board fills or both players must pass.
Rarity diamonds mark Levels I to V. Family tags have a role in the advanced rules. Collecting scarcity and a card’s role on the board are different things.
